The Stakeholder Committee (SHC) acts as an advisory committee to the EUP AH&W governing boards, and it contributes to continuous improvement efforts of the EUP AH&W. For example, the SHC advises on the development of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) and Annual Work Programmes (AWPs). The SHC addresses complementarities between the stakeholders’ organisations and the EUP AH&W, and supports the communication, dissemination and exploitation of outcomes.

The SHC is composed of various organisations active in Animal Health and Welfare (see below). Domains covered include AMR, One Health and One Welfare, aquatic animals to cite a few. The composition of the Stakeholder Committee may need change due to emerging epidemiological information and/or based on Stakeholder mapping (as performed in Work Package 5). The Executive Board decides on the SHC composition, and the list of SHC members will be communicated to the Governing Board and the General Assembly.
